Product Review Sharper Image Feline Frolic! TK101 Reviewed by: Nicholas Subject: 'Review of Feline Frolic! Remote-Controlled Cat Exerciser - TK101' Message: Well, I LOVE this thing! and this isn't like me but it is simply not for carpet. In fact, with a long history of working for P.S. Technology, I was able to make mine carpet friendly, however, I would have expected more from the high end stuff at the Sharper Image. To Modify for carpet I required: 1- Two higher-end caps (one for each motor) 2- Two Lower # turn DC motors 3- One larger pinion gear (4 extra teeth) 4- Dremel or rotary tool (for gear meshing on main axle placement) 5- One Zip-tie 5-some soder and gun 5-extra time... Pic #1 is the item after mods #2 is a side-by-side motor comparison (notice the number on the small caps, on the sharper image motor it's a cap you would use on a battery powered fan from walgreens, and on my motor, still cheep, but rated for R/C quality stuff) #3 is what their motor wear looked like after one week

PROS: Cat loves it CONS: doesn't drive on carpet
