Continuing kingsnake.com's holiday tradition of having a most excellent Christmas contest, PetHobbyist.com is having its biggest contest ever. This is a chance for pet lovers all over the continental United States to get their stocking stuffed with a NEW 42 inch Gateway™ Plasma TV!!!

The following promotion is intended for participants in the continental United States only and shall be construed and evaluated according to the laws of the United States. Do not proceed in this promotion if you are not a legal resident of the United States.

2. Eligibility:
Open to legal residents of the Continental U.S. (including the District of Columbia, excluding Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands) and (excluding residents of any jurisdiction where this promotion would be prohibited by law) who are 13 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees and Volunteers of OnilineHobbyist and their respective agents, affiliates, subsidiary and parent companies, sales representatives, marketing affiliates and partners, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies and members of the immediate families or household of each are not eligible.

3. How to Enter:
This promotion begins December 13, 2002 at 9:00 a.m. (Eastern Time) and ends December 31, 2002 at 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Time). Eligible persons are automatically entered into the promotion when they submit a correct list of forum/message board names containing message board posts made by the username SantaClaus and containing a stanza of the song "The Twelve Days of Christmas", using the online form supplied on the PetHobbyist.com site. The first of the twelve stanzas will be posted on December 13 2002, with each following stanza posted on succesive days, with the last being posted on December 24 2002. Entries will be accepted from December 24 2002 through December 31 2002. Entries MUST be made using the online form to be provided on December 24 2002 at http://www.pethobbyist.com/xmas.html. All Entries submitted by email or any other method other than the online form will be considered void, and removed from consideration. All persons submitting an entry form must be registered users of the PetHobbyist forum/message board system. Registration is free and you may register at http://gallery.pethobbyist.com/register.pl. Only one entry per person, username, and/or mailing address is allowed.

4. Eligible Entries:
An entry will be considered eligible if it contains all 12 correct forum/message board names containing the proper message board posts, and has been submitted by a user of any site in the PetHobbyist.com community system. All entries by employees and volunteers of OnlineHobbyist.com, Inc., PetHobbyist.com, and their respective agents, affiliates, subsidiary and parent companies, sales representatives, marketing affiliates and partners, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies and members of the immediate families or household, or individuals who have been banned or removed from the PetHobbyist.com community site's for terms of service violations, will be considered void, and removed from consideration. Only one entry per person, username, and/or mailing address is allowed.

5. Winner Selection:
One winner will be selected from among all eligible entries received, in a random drawing to be held on or about December 31, 2002 conducted by OnlineHobbyist.com, Inc or its designee, the judges of the promotion, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the promotion. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The potential winner will be notified by electronic mail. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the email account is registered. Winner will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within 14 days of first attempted notification or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. Return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable will result in forfeiture of prize and selection of an alternate winner.

6. Prize:
One Grand Prize of a 42 inch Gateway™ plasma TV. Approximate retail value: $2,999.00. If the potential winner is a minor, the prize will be awarded in the name of the minor's parent or legal guardian, who will be required to sign all necessary documents. Winner will be responsible for all applicable taxes on the prize.

One Second Place Prize of a $300.00 US. Dollar Gift Certificate to use at any of the vendors listed in the breeder or business directories listed at PetHobbyist.com, or its affiliatte communities.

Three Third Place Prize of a $100.00 US. Dollar Gift Certificate to use at any of the vendors listed in the breeder or business directories listed at PetHobbyist.com, or its affiliatte communities.

7. Miscellaneous:
By entering, participants, (a) agree to be bound by the official rules and the decisions of the judges; (b) agree to release OnlineHobbyist.com, Inc. and their respective employees and agents from any and all liability, loss, damage or injury resulting from participation in this promotion or awarding, receipt, possession use and/or misuse of any prize awarded herein and acknowledge that OnlineHobbyist.com, Inc., and its employees and agents have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize including, but not limited to, its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose; and (c) consent to use of his/her name, photograph and/or likeness for advertising and promotional purposes in connection with this promotion without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend or terminate the promotion should a virus, bugs or other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the promotion. In such event, the prize will be awarded by random drawing from among eligible entries received up to the date/time of corruption or modification, to the extent feasible.
